Lohagad hasan easy climbing trek with staircases that leads right upto the entrance of the fort. Lohagad "Iron fort" is one of the well kept hill forts of ChatrapatiShivaji. It divides the basins of the Indrayani and Pavna and is situated on a wide range of the Sahyadri. The Visapur fort is located on its eastern side. The four large gates of Lohagad are still in good condition and reasonably intact. Historical records show that in the later Peshwa period, Nana Phadnavis built several structures in the fort. Lohagad is one of the best trekking routes near Mumbai & Pune.

Arrive at Malavi Station by around 10:00 am and further proceed towards Lohagad base village. On arrival a small self-introduction session and briefing will be given for the entire trek. We begin trekking upwards on Lohagad fort (Approx 1-2 Hours Climb). On reaching atop we freshen up and gather for a delicious village style home cooked Vegetarian Lunch. After some leisure time we proceed to enjoy Sunset from the Fort, later we begin descending downstairs. Reach base village and relish some refreshments before heading back to Mumbai.
