A summer the camp is a supervised program for children aged between 8 – 20 yrs of age, conducted during the summer period, the primary purpose of many camps is educational, athletic, or cultural development. A summer camp environment may allow children to learn new skills in a safe and nurturing environment. Summer camp experience can have a lasting psychological impact on the development of a child.
Our Summer camps organized in Jungles of Kanha, Pench & Bandhavgarh, Manali in Himachal & High Cold Dessert of Ladakh, Activities in summer camps will include rock climbing, backpacking, mountain biking, white water rafting, trekking, ropes, Jungle trail, safari, homestay experience, and wilderness craft as per region selected. Our Summer Camps is a well-designed program for the age group between 7-25 yrs of age.
Summer camp designed by us focuses on experiential learning & outdoor activities. The importance of food and water is explained with various activities. Post Summer camp, we assure parents that there will be an increase in the social quotient of each participant. Welcome to Summer Camp, organized by Ravine Trek (Adventure & Leisure Tour Company), our Professional team with purely secured & safety for the individual participant, Each Camp & departure is personally taken care of the individual participant by our experienced team members.
Note: Group Discount will be considered with a minimum of 6 Persons in group size.
Day 01: Leh to Sham Valley (70 kms | 4-5 Hrs approx)
Arrival at Leh airport and transferred to the Sham Valley, pass through villages of Sham Valley set along the Indus River. Enroute visit to Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, arrival at sham valley, complete day to acclimatize your body to the difference in altitude. O/N Sham
Day 02: Sham Valley - Lamayuru – Kargil (152 kms | 4-5 hrs approx)
After Breakfast leave for Kargil, en route visit the view of moon like landscape, Lamayuru Giant Maitreya at Mulbekh. Arrive at Kargil by Lunch. After lunch drive to Drass, Known as 2nd Coldest inhabited place on earth, here visit the Drass War Memorial Hall, Later back to Kargil. O/N Kargil
Day 03: Kargil to Sham Valley via Batalik (192 Kms | 5-6 hrs approx)
After breakfast, drive to Leh, en route, visit Dha-Hanu. The people who inhabit this area are considered as last of the Indo Aryan race, not only their attire is highly decorated with jewelry and flowers, their features are also quite distinct. We also visit Batalik, one of the most famous war front zones fought by the Indian soldiers in 1999 with Pakistan. Enroute stop at Magnetic hill & Hall of Fame Museum. O/N Leh.
Day 04: Leh - Nubra Valley (128 Kms | 4-5 hrs approx)
After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the world, 18,380 ft). You can take short breaks at roadside cafes and scenic points for photography. On arrival check in to the camp. Post lunch, enjoy a camel safari (double humped camel which are found only in Ladakh & Mongolia) at the Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village. O/N Nubra Valley
Day 05: Nubra - Pangong Lake via Shyok river road (150 Kms | 6-7 Hrs approx)
After Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, drive of 6 – 7 Hrs. Arrival at camp, Later free time at Leisure and enjoy the color changing lake and the sun set on the banks of lake. O/N Pangong Lake.
Day 06: Pangong Lake to Hanle (175 Kms | 6-7 hrs approx)
In the morning after breakfast drive to Hanle, on the way cross Chushul Village and Tsaga La (15,200 Ft), Hanle, is home to the Indian Astronomical Observatory. The location of the village and the observatory are highly sensitive due to the close proximity of the Tibetan / Chinese border, India set up the Himalayan Chandra Telescope, a 2m gamma ray telescope, here. Once complete, the Major Atmospheric Cerenkov Experiment Telescope gamma ray telescope under construction here, will be the world's largest telescope at the highest altitude and the second largest gamma ray telescope in the world. As per history, it is believed that King Singge Namgyal died here at Hanle while on his return from an expedition on Mongols. Enjoy the stay with locals at local guest house/homestay. O/N Hanle
Day 07: Hanle – Leh
In the morning after breakfast drive to Leh, enroute chumathang hot water spring , Thiskey Gompa. Later evening free at Leisure at Leh town market. O/N Leh.
Day 08: Leh Airport Drop (4 Kms | 15 minutes approx)
Early morning transfer to Leh airport to board flight back to destination. Journey Ends.
