Itinerary

Day 1 : Cochin – Guruvayoor (100 kms / 2-3 kms)

Arrival at Cochin and proceed to Guruvayyoor. Checkin at the hotel and visit Punnathur Kota and by evening darshan at Guruvayoor & Mammiyoor Temple. Overnight at Hotel .
Day 2 : Guruvayoor – Athirapally (100 kms / 3 hrs)

After breakfast checkout and proceed to Athirapally. Arrive and check-in at the hotel booked for you. Relax for a while in the comforts of your room. Athirapally which is within the breathtaking embrace of the deep forests, amidst a rich and diverse flora & fauna. Athirapally Waterfalls is often referred as the Niagara Falls of India. Behold the spectacular view of the crashing 80 ft waterfalls. Athirapally lays in the wilderness of the Sholayar Range in the lap of nature in all its glory. Overnight stay at the Hotel/Resort.
Day 3 : Athirapally - Munnar (150 kms /4-5 hrs)

After breakfast checkout and proceed to Munnar. This beautiful hill station was once the summer capital of the British Empire in India. The never ending vast expanse of tea plantations and the round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for all tourists across the globe. The day at leisure. Overnight at Munnar.
Day 4 : Munnar

Visit to Rajamala-house of the highly endangered mountain goats-the Nilgiri Thars. Proceed to Echo point and Mattupetty Dam. Speed boating facilities are available here. The dam is flanked by forests and vast expanse of grass land on one side and the Kundala tea plantation on the other. After noon at lei-sure. Overnight at Munnar.
Day 5 : Munnar - Thekkady (120 kms /4-5 hrs)

Morning proceed to Thekkady and arrive by noon at Thekkady. Afternoon at Periyar lake around which the sanctuary is built, for boating. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique ex-perience of viewing the wild life at close quarters from the safety of boat .Overnight in Thekkady.
Day 6 : Thekkady - Kumarakom (150 kms /4-5 hrs)

Drive to Kumarakom. By noon check in at the backwater resort in Kumarakom. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay at Kumarakom.
Day 7 : Kumarakom - Allepey (50 kms /1-2 hrs)

Morning after breakfast proceed to Alleppey. By noon check in at the house boat in Alleppey for a 20 hour house boating through the legendary backwaters of Kerala. On the way you will witness local living and activities in the backdrop of picture perfect backdrops. Overnight in the house boat. House boat is a private boat with fully furnished spacious bath attached bed rooms, in-house kitchen, dining area and private front deck to capture the beauty of the backwaters.
Day 8 : Alleppey – Cochin (70 kms / 1- 2 hrs)

After breakfast checkout and proceed to Cochin and if time permits visit Fort Kochi & Mattanchery where you can see the majestic jewish synagogue, Dutch Palace, St francis Church, Chinese fishing nets etc. And by evening head to Cochin airport / railway station for onward journey
