Itinerary

  • Day 01: Kathmandu.

    Arrival at Kathmandu International airport. Meet & welcome by our representative & transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. O/N Kathmandu

  • Day 02: Kathmandu

    After breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing tour of -- The Pashupatinath Temple - dedicated to Pashupati, a form of Shiva, it was classified as a World Heritage Site in 1979. It is a"sprawling collection of temples, ashrams, images and inscriptions raised over the centuries along the banks of the sacred Bagmati river", and is one of seven monument groups in UNESCO’s designation of Kathmandu Valley. Boudhanath Stupa - also known as Boudhanath, Khasti Chaitya and khasa, its massive mandala makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal and the world. The Stupa is said to entomb the remains of Kassapa Buddha. It is located on the ancient trade route from Tibet. Patan Durbar Square, the Patan city popularly known as 'the city of artisans', accommodates a magnificent square housing the palace buildings of the then royals, artistic courtyards and graceful pagoda temples – a display of Newari architecture that had reached its pinnacle during the reign of the Malla kings. It is filled with wood and stone carvings, metal statues, and ornate architecture, including dozens of Buddhist and Hindu temples, and over 1200 monuments. Swayambhunath, Said to be around 2000 years old, this Buddhist Stupa sits atop a hillock overlooking the valley, a legend has it that the stupa evolved spontaneously at the time of the Kathmandu valley’s creation, also known as the ‘Monkey Temple’ owing to the presence of a large number of monkeys around the area.   • Day 03: Kathmandu - Pokhara

    After breakfast drive to Pokhara. Enroute visit Manakamana Temple by cable car. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Evening walk around the tourist area of Lake Side and enjoy the view of western Himalayan ranges with Mt Fishtail. O/N Pokhara

  • Day 04: Pokhara

    Early morning proceed to Sarangkot (8 kms), you can see panoramic views from Sarangkot of various mountains. When the sun picks out the peaks, transforming them from a purple-pink to a celestial gold. Later leave for sightseeing tour of Pokhara valley covering Davi's fall, Seti gorge, Gupteshwor Mahadev cave – a limestone cave containing stalagmites and stalactites, International Mountain Museum, Tal Barahi and 1-hour boating in Fewa Lake. O/N Pokhara

  • Day 05: Pokhara to Chitwan

    After breakfast, scenic drive to Chitwan National Park. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, experience the vibrant local culture with a Tharu Stick dance performance by the indigenous Tharu community, showcasing their traditional dances and attire. O/N Chitwan

  • Day 06: Chitwan

    Early morning after tea/coffee leave for Nature Walk and Bird watching tour. Later have breakfast & start jungle safari to see different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild boar, leopard, monkeys, birds and many other smaller animals. Later proceed for Dugout Canoe Ride along Rapti River to see 2 types of rare species of crocodile; the marsh mugger and the fish-eating Gharial or Visit elephant breeding farm & drive back to the lodge. O/N Chitwan

  • Day 07: Chitwan to KathmanduDay 07: Chitwan to Kathmandu

    After breakfast take a scenic drive to Kathmandu, covering approximately 176 km (about 5 hours) along the national highway that runs parallel to the Trishuli River. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. O/N Kathmandu

  • Day 08: Kathmandu

    Morning after breakfast, leave for Kathmandu Airport to board a flight back to your destination. Journey ends here.
