Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Zurich and Transfer to Lucerne

After arriving at Zurich Airport, you will proceed directly to the Swiss railway station located inside the airport terminal. Using the Swiss Travel Pass, take a direct train to Lucerne. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes and is very scenic, passing lakes and green countryside. On arrival in Lucerne, check in to your hotel. After some rest, spend the afternoon walking slowly through Lucerne’s Old Town. Cross the historic Chapel Bridge, see the Water Tower, and enjoy lakeside views along Lake Lucerne. In the evening, take a relaxed boat cruise on Lake Lucerne, which is included
Day 2 – Mount Titlis Glacier Excursion

After breakfast, travel by train from Lucerne to Engelberg. From Engelberg, take the cable car journey up to Mount Titlis. The highlight of the day is the Rotair cable car, the world’s first rotating cable car, which excites children. At the summit, walk through the Glacier Cave carved inside the ice, play in the snow park, and cross the Titlis CliT Walk suspension bridge. Even in summer, children will experience real snow here. In the late afternoon, return to Lucerne by cable car and train. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Lucerne.
Day 3 – Lucerne to Interlaken via Brienz

Check out after breakfast and board the train towards Interlaken. En route, stop at the village of Brienz, famous for its woodcarving tradition. Visit a local woodcarving workshop where children can see how traditional Swiss wooden toys and decorations are made.Continue onward to Interlaken and check in to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful walk along the River Aare or relax in Höhematte Park, where children can run freely with views of the Jungfrau mountains. Overnight in Interlaken.
Day 4 – Jungfraujoch: Top of Europe

This is a full but unforgettable day. After an early breakfast, travel by train to Grindelwald and then take the Eiger Express cable car to the Jungfraujoch. At the top, visit the Ice Palace where children can walk through ice tunnels, and enjoy panoramic views of the Aletsch Glacier, the largest glacier in Europe. There are indoor restaurants and viewing galleries, which helps families rest and stay warm. After spending suTicient time, return to Interlaken by late afternoon. Evening free. Overnight in Interlaken.
Day 5 – Interlaken to Montreux and Chocolate Factory

After breakfast, travel by train to Montreux on Lake Geneva. From Montreux, continue to Broc village to visit the Maison Cailler Chocolate Factory. The factory visit is interactive, child-friendly, and includes chocolate tasting at the end. Return to Montreux and check in to your hotel. In the evening, walk along the Montreux lakeside promenade or enjoy views of the Alps across Lake Geneva. Overnight in Montreux.
Day 6 – Montreux to Zermatt

After breakfast, depart Montreux by train for Zermatt. The journey takes you deep into the Alps and is very scenic. Zermatt is a car-free village, making it extremely safe for children. After hotel check-in, spend the afternoon exploring the village, visiting the Matterhorn viewpoint near the river, and enjoying local cafés. Overnight in Zermatt.
Day 7 – Matterhorn Glacier Paradise and Return to Zurich

After breakfast, take the cable car to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. Walk through the glacier tunnels, enjoy the viewing platform, and allow children time to play in the snow. In the afternoon, descend back to Zermatt and take the train to Zurich. Depending on flight timing, either overnight in Zurich or proceed directly to the airport.
