Happening Himachal (8 Nights – 9 Days) Manali – Dharamsala – Amritsar

Itinerary

Day 01: Chandigarh – Manali.

Arrival at Chandigarh Airport, Proceed to Manali, drive of 7 – 8 Hrs. Enroute visit to mata hanogi temple and kullu shawl factory. Arrival at Manali by evening. O/N Manali.
Day 02: Manali – Local Excursion.

After breakfast leave for Naggar for naggar castle, nicholas roerich art gallery & later by visiting vashisht Temple for hot water sulphur bath. Evening at leisure and rest. O/N Manali.
Day 03: Manali.

After breakfast leave for Solang valley, from here can go on gondola cable ride on top or trek up to anjini mahadev shivling, later spend time on adventure activities at solang ground. With road / weather permit, enjoy the drive at Atal Tunnel from Dhundhi to Sissu (Lahaul Valley) & back to Manali by evening. O/N Manali.
Day 04: Manali.

Morning after breakfast leave for local sightseeing by visiting Hadimba Temple, Manu Maharishi Temple in Old Manali & Buddhist Monastery. Evening free time at Leisure. O/N Manali.
Day 05: Manali – Palampur

After Breakfast leave for Palampur, enroute visit Chamunda temple. Evening free time to walk around the tea gardens. O/N Palampur
Day 06: Palampur

Today after breakfast, leave for Bir Billing for Para Gliding - one of the best paragliding ground in the world. Back to the hotel by evening. Rest day at leisure. O/N Palampur
Day 07: Palampur – Dharamshala

Morning after breakfast leave for Dharamshala, on arrival check in to the hotel. Later visit to Kangra Fort - Largest & oldest fort of India. Later, Mcleodganj for a visit of His Holiness Dalai Lama’s Residence. Spend some good time shopping for Tibetan Culture and traditional items at Mcleodganj Market. Later go to Dharamkot - Dharamkot is a Hippie Village known as 'Tel Aviv of hills' . Locals have also acclimatised and many can now fluently speak Hebrew. Explore the village and back to Dharamshala. O/N Dharamshala
Day 08: Dharamshala – Amritsar

Moring after breakfast, leave for Amritsar, a drive of 4-5 hours. Later leave for local sightseeing by visiting famous Golden Temple & Historical Jallianwala Baug, later in evening visit to Wagah - Attari Border, for evening retreat by India – Pakistan defense force. Later spend some time in market. O/N Amritsar
Day 09: Amritsar

After breakfast, drop at Amritsar airport. Journey ends here.
