Off Route Himachal 10 Nights – 11 Days

Chandigarh – Kufri – Kalpa – Sangla – Narkanda – Jalori – Tirthan – Kasol – Palampur – Dharamshala

Itinerary

  • Day 01: Chandigarh – Kufri

    Arrival at Chandigarh Airport, and proceed to Kufri, Drive of 4 - 5 Hrs. O/N Kufri.

  • Day 02: Kufri – Rampur – Sarahan – Kalpa.

    After breakfast leave for Sarahan by enroute visiting the exquisite palace of erstwhile Maharajah of Rampur Bushair, explore the town and then leave for the beautiful village of sarahan, perched High above the river Sutlej, sarahan is steeped in legend, hill architecture and the remarkable natural beauty, orchards and small villages & visit to Bhimakali temple, it is revered as one of the fifty one shaktipeeth. Leave for kalpha via reckong peo. arrival at hotel, from hotel most of the rooms facing jorkanden and the kinner kailash peak, considered as one of the mythical homes of Lord Shiva and by its side is a seventy nine foot rock formation that resembles a Shivalinga that changes the color as the day passes and is visible to the naked eye on a clear day. And in evening visit to buddhist Gompa, Hu Bu Lan Kar. O/N Kalpa.

  • Day 03: Kalpa – Sangla.

    After breakfast leave for the beautiful valley of sangla. The natural scenery all around and the eternal snow view are picturesque and charming. It is also known as Baspa valley since baspa river flows through this valley. O/N Sangla.

  • Day 04: Sangla – Chitkul – Sangla.

    Explore the vicinity around including an ancient Kamru fort & temple dedicated to Nages God. Visit to Chitkul, a last village on old indo – tibetan trade route. Walk through green orchards and brilliant stream. O/N Sangla.

  • Day 05: Sangla – Narkanda

    After Breakfast leave for Narkanda, beautifully located with thick woods, and the majestic view of Hatu Peak. Evening free time at leisure to explore this small tiny village. O/N Narkanka.

  • Day 06: Narkanda.

    Morning after breakfast leave for hatu peak visit situated at a height of 2000 feet above Shimla is the Hattu peak. It can be reached in an hour by trekking. You can also visit the Hattu Mata temple that is located over here. The Hattu peak is famous for its skiing activities and hiking and is teaming with adventure seekers during winters when it snows, making the place look like a white wonderland. O/N Narkanda.

  • Day 07: Narkanda – Tirthan via Jalori.

    Morning after breakfast leave for Tirthan (Banjar Valley), by crossing Jalori Pass situated at a height of 10,800 feet above sea level, Jalori Pass or Jalori Jot is one of the stunning places to visit in Tirthan Valley. The Pass is still unexplored and is a perfect destination for trekkers and adventure lovers. The place is adorned by the huge coniferous trees, wild roses, ferns and Iris flowers, later visit to Jibhi & Shoja villages enroute It’s become increasingly difficult to find locations untouched by commercialization in Himachal Pradesh. But if you search hard enough, the state still guards some of its most beautiful areas. And we wouldn’t have it any other way! The enchanting village of Jibhi is one such place, tucked away in the lovely Banjar Valley. Jibhi will charm you with its freshwater lakes, pine forests, and quaint Victorian-style cottages, While in Jibhi, try and visit the charming Ghiyagi, which is a small hamlet located 4-5 km away on the way to Shoja.   • Day 08: Tirthan.

    Morning after breakfast visit to Great Himalayan National Park reserve park & Gushaini is a village located on the banks of the pristine Tirthan River. It is the starting point for most treks in Tirthan Valley and fittingly so. Gushaini is a beautiful village whose residents are a cheerful and happy bunch. The village is abundant in greenery, as well as peaches, pomegranate, apple, pear, and apricot orchards. The village comprises of rustic wooden buildings and houses. Gushaini is located 10 km before the entrance to the Great Himalayan National Park. Besides trekking, visitors can try their hand at angling, river crossing, camping, bird watching, and camping. A short hike to Bandal Village will bring you to a beautiful temple of Goddess Durga. Gushaini – with its stunning natural beauty- is also the best place to unwind and do nothing. O/N Tirthan.

  • Day 09: Tirthan – Kasol

    Morning after breakfast leave for Kasol, visit to Manikaran Gurudwara & explore Kasol village. O/N Kasol.

  • Day 10: Kasol – Palampur.

    Morning after breakfast leave for Palampur, Visit to Palampur tea Gardens, Tashi Jong Monastery, Andretta pottery & Rest.

  • Day 11: Palampur – Bir Billing & Mcledoganj – Palampur.

    Morning after breakfast drive to Bir Billing, famous for Paragliding in the world, enjoy the adventure activites, later visit to Later visit to Mcleodganj for visit to His Holiness Dalai Lama’s Residence. Spend some good time for shopping for Tibetan Culture and traditional items at Mcleodganj Market. O/N Palampur.

  • Day 12: Palampur – Dharamshala Drop.

    Morning after breakfast leave for Dharamshala airport, to board a flight back to Destination. Journey Ends here.
