Itinerary

Day 01: Leh to Sham Valley

Arrival at Leh airport, & leave for Sham Valley passing through some scenic villages along the Indus River. Upon arrival check in to your reserved accommodation for a complete day of rest. O/N Sham Valley.
Day 02: Sham Valley - Dha – Kargil – Drass – Kargil

After Breakfast leave for Kargil, by visiting Dah Hanu Village They have an Indo-European appearance in contrast to the predominant Tibet-Mongol inhabitants of most of Ladakh. Arrive at Kargil by Afternoon, post-lunch drive to Drass, Known as 2nd Coldest inhabited place on earth, here visit the Drass War Memorial Hall, dedicated to Indian soldiers who fought during the Kargil war, drive back to Kargil. O/N Kargil.
Day 03: Kargil – Rangdum - Padum

After breakfast drive to Rangdum (Zanskar), along with Suru Valley, on the way, visit to Karsekar village to see the giant rock carved Buddha (960 AD), & stop over at Panikhar to have a view of Nun Kun peaks, highest Peaks of Zangskar valley, Arrival at Rangdum, later visit to 200 old Rangdum Monastory. Later drive towards Padum via Penzi la pass 14,436 ft, enjoy magnificent views of Drang Drung Glacier, considered to be one of the biggest glacier in India, arrival at Padum, free time at Leisure & rest. O/N Padum.
Day 04: Padum

Today visit to Sani Gompa & Lake & Karsha, Stongdey Gompa. Later day at Leisure at Padum. O/N Padum.
Day 05: Padum – Barden Monastery – Lungna Valley – Khangsar - Purne

After breakfast, drive towards Lungna Valley of Zanskar. On the way visit Barden Monastery and other villages. Reach Khangsar Purni and spend your night at Tara Mountain Sarai at Khangsar. O/N Khangsar.
Day 06: Day Hike to Phukthal Monastery (3 hours of Hike)

This is the most memorable day of your entire tour. You will hike to Phukthal Monastery, the oldest and the most beautiful monastery. Spend some at Monastery with the monks and hike back to your camp. O/N Khangsar.
Day 07: Purne - Padum – Kilima Bridge – Lingshed

Today you will drive back towards Leh via the same route and spend overnight at local homestay at lingshed village. O/N Lingshed.
Day 08: Lingshed – Singgela Pass – Photoksar – Leh

Morning visit the Lingshed Monastery and continue drive on the same route to Leh. At arrival, check in to the reserved accommodation. Rest day at leisure. O/N Leh.
Day 09: Leh – Nubra Valley

After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla pass (2nd Highest Motorable road in the world, 18,380 ft) you can take short breaks at roadside cafes & scenic points for photography. Enroute enjoy Adventure Activites like ATV bike ride / Go karting / Rafting. Arrival at your reserved hotel/camp. Post lunch, leave for Sand Dunes, enjoy a camel safari (double humped camel which is found only in Ladakh & Mongolia) at the Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village. O/N Nubra Valley.
Day 10: Nubra – Turtuk – Nubra

After breakfast drive to Turtuk (first time opened for the tourist since 2010) this village was captured by Indians Army in war of 1971 from Pakistan, enroute visit Tyakshi (it is the border that divides India and Pakistan) O/N Nubra Valley.
Day 11: Hunder – Siachen Base Camp – Sumur

After Breakfast drive to Siachen Base Camp (Till permit) enroute visit Hot spring at Panamik & Samstanling monastery. O/N Sumur.
Day 12: Nubra - Pangong Lake via Shyok river road

After Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, drive of 6 – 7 Hrs. Arrival at Camp, Later free time at Leisure and enjoy the color changing lake and the sun set on the banks of lake. O/N Pangong Lake.
Day 13: Pangong Lake – Hanle via Tsaga La

Morning after breakfast leave for a beautiful drive to Hanle, on the way cross Chushul Village and Tsaga La (15,200 Ft), Hanle, is home to the Indian Astronomical Observatory one of the highest observatory in the world known for star gazing. As per history, it is believed that King Singge Namgyal died here at Hanle while on his return from an expedition on Mongols. Enjoy the stay with locals at local guest house/homestay. O/N Hanle.
Day 14: Hanle – Tsomoriri via Mahe Bridge

Morning after breakfast drive to Tsomoriri Lake, enroute cross Nyoma village & Mahe Bridge. Arrival at Korzok village by late noon. Evening is at disposal to walk around the Lake and enjoy the scenic beauty. O/N Korzok.
Day 15: Tsomoriri – Tsokar - Taglangla – Leh

Morning after breakfast leave to Leh via Puga (Sulphur Mine) and Polakongka pass 15892 ft, Tsokar Lake and Taklang La Pass 17,585ft, 2nd Highest motorable road in the world. Arrival at Leh by late evening. O/N Leh.
Day 16: Leh – City tour

After breakfast leave for Leh city half day tour, to visit the Spituk Gompa, Shanti Stupa, Hall of Fame Museum, Leh Palace, later day at Leisure & rest. O/N Leh.
Day 17: Leh

Morning transfer to Leh airport to board flight back to destination. Journey Ends.
