Itinerary

  • Day 01 : Chennai

    Upon arrival our representative will greet you at Chennai Airport /Railway station and then transfer to the hotel .Check in and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Chennai the gateway to southern India, established in 1639 by the East India Company ,is one of the oldest cities of the country. The ma-jor tourist attractions are Marina Beach which is the largest beach in the world. This stretch is filled with statues of remembrance from Tamil culture. Fort St. George which was built by the British East India Company in 1653,houses St Mary’s church, the first British Church in Chennai and has a Museum with a collection of British and French historical artifacts. San Thome Cathedral is the final resting place of the apostle St. Thomas who was killed just outside the city in 78AD. This cathedral has been built by the Por-tuguese in typical neo Gothic style between 14th and 15th century A.D .Snake park houses a variety of rare reptiles, different species, including deadly king cobras,vipers, pythons, adders, kraits , giant turtles and monitor lizards .   • Day 02 : Chennai - Tirupati

    Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast . Proceed to Tirupati and Check in at the hotel and relax for the day . Overnight at Tirupati .

  • Day 03 : Tirupati

    Morning proceed for sight-seeing of Tirupati.Kapilatheeetham,a sacred tank a mile and a half dis-tance from Tirupati where Lord Shiva is said to have blessed sage Kapila with a vision of himself and his concert .Govindarajaswami Temple the temple is dedicated to Govindaraja Perumal in con-tradistinction of the Venkatachalapathi shrine at the top of the hill . There is also a famous tower called Galigopuram. Sri Kondandarama Swamy Temple, the specious temple with imposing idols of Sri Rama, Lakshmana and Sita. Other sight-seeing places are: SV Zoological Park, Srinivasamangapuram, a small village is about 12 kM to the west to Tirupati. Sri KalyanaVenkateswara Swamy Temple is located at the small village. Thiruchanur about 5 Km from Tirupati temple, Thiruchanur houses are renowned temple of Sri Padmavathi Devi ( Goddess Lakshmi ), the consort of Sri Venkateswara. It is believed that a visit to Tirupati temple is rewarding only after paying homage to Sri Padmavati Devi temple. Overnight stay at the hotel/ Resort.

  • Day 04 : Tirupati - Chennai

    After breakfast, time free until noon. Later check out of the Hotel and transfer to Chennai railway staion / Airport in time for your onward journey.
