Itinerary

  • Day 01: Varanasi – Shravasti

    Arrival at Varanasi meet and greet by our representative and transfer to your reserved accommodation at Shravasti . Rest of the time at leisure. O/N Shravasti.

  • Day 02: Shravasti – Local Sightseeing – Lumbini

    After breakfast leave for Sravasti Sightseeing. Shrawasti, the north-eastern town of Uttar Pradesh, is located near the West Rapti River. This town is closely associated with the life of Gautama Buddha, who is believed to have spent 24 Chaturmases here, ages old Stupas, majestic viharas and several temples near the village of "Sahet-Mahet" establish Buddha's association with Shravasti. Visit to Saheth, Jetvanaram, Mahet and Angulimal caves. Post Lunch, drive to Lumbini. On arrival, check in to hotel. O/N Lumbini.

  • Day 03: Lumbini - Birthplace of Lord Buddha – Kushinagar

    After breakfast, visit Holy Birth place of Lord Buddha and Local Tourist Attractions of Lumbini like Eternal Peace Flame and Maya Devi Temple. Later drive to Kushinagar .O/N Khushinagar.

  • Day 04: Kushinagar – Vaishali Local Tour – Rajgir

    The name of "Kasia Bazaar" was changed to Kushinagar and then Kasia Bazaar became a municipality with the official name Kushinagar. It is an important Buddhist pilgrimage site, where Buddhists believe Gautama Buddha attained Parinirvana after his death. After Breakfast, visit Mahaparinirvana Temple (where Buddha took his last breathe) , Rambhar Stupa also called Mukutbandhan Chaitya (cremation site of Lord Buddha) and Japan Temple. Later drive to Last Sermon place of Lord Buddha in Vaishali . Visit Lord Buddha Stupa, Ananda Stupa, Coronation Tank (Abhishek Pushkaran) Ashokan Pillar, Kutagarshala Vihar. Later drive to Rajgir. O/N Rajgir.

  • Day 05: Rajgir -Local Tour – Nalanda – Bodhgaya

    Rajgir (originally known as Girivraj) is a city and a notified area in Nalanda district in the Indian state of Bihar. the well known "Atanatiya" conference was held at Vulture's Peak mountain. After breakfast, visit Rajgir , the capital of the Magadha Empire and is a pilgrimage for Buddhists. The Japanese Buddhists have built the massive Vishwa Shanti Stupa (World Peace Stupa) on the Ratnagiri Hill. Explore Griddhakuta (Vulture's Peak) , Vishwa Shanti Stupa , Venuvanaram & Bimbisar Prison. Later drive to Nalanda. Visit the Archaeological ruins of Nalanda University Complex . After the walk around the ruins, visit the Xuan Zang Memorial Hall , which is a Chinese Pagoda built by Chinese Buddhists. Later proceed to Bodhgaya, visit Lord Buddha Temple (Mahabodhi Temple) and Bodhi Tree. O/N Bodhgaya.

  • Day 06: Bodhgaya – Varanasi

    Morning after Breakfast, visit Dungeshwari Cave Temples, also known as the Mahakala Caves located en-route to Gaya. Lord Buddha underwent years of penance here before he descended to Bodhgaya . There are three main caves containing Buddhist Shrines. Also visit Sujata Village Temple where Lady Sujata offered Kheer to meditating Lord Buddha. Post lunch drive to Varanasi, Later evening enjoy Ganga aarti at ghat. O/N Varanasi.

  • Day 07: Varanasi – Sarnath – Drop at Airport

    Early morning, feel the spiritual vibes of Subah-e-Banaras in Varanasi in which you will enjoy Morning Boat Ride in the Ganges during Sunrise . Experience the different Ghats of Varanasi specially Manikarnika Ghat - world largest cremation ground for Hindus. Each Ghat has its own history and value. Come back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, we will be taken for an excursion to Sarnath. Sarnath is the place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon to his disciples at deer park (Rishipattana) . Local Sightseeing of Sarnath is the Buddha Temples, Dhamekha Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Mulagandh Kuti Viharaand the Archaeological Museum. Later drop to Railway Station / Airport in Varanasi. Journey Ends here.
