  • Day 01: Mumbai

    Arrival in Mumbai, check into hotel, later a day visit Mumbai local sightseeing or visit to After breakfast transfer to the Gateway of India overlooking the harbor. Visit the rock cut temples on the Elephanta caves by motor launch 10 km across the sea, north east from Mumbai's harbor. (Deriving its name from a stone elephant discovered by the Portuguese, this beautiful green island is about one hour's boat ride from Bombay harbor. The island houses the temples wonders of the 7th century dedicated to Lord Shiva as the Creator, Preserver, and Destroyer and in "Cosmic Dance". O/N Mumbai.

  • Day 02: Mumbai – Ganpati Mandal (Stage) visit

    Morning after breakfast leave for visit to famous Ganpati stage of Mumbai. First visit to lalbaug Cha Raja, The Lalbaugcha Raja, the King of Lalbaug, is undoubtedly the most famous Ganesh statue in Mumbai, and the most visited one. Its legendary design is now patent-protected. If you want to see the lengths people are prepared to go to for devotion, the Lalbaugcha Raja is the idol to visit. It draws an average of 1.5 million people a day! People believe that this Ganesh idol can fulfill their wishes, later few couple of lanes away visit to The Mumbaicha Raja, in Ganesh Galli (Lane), The mandal is well known for its novel new themes every year, often a replica of a famous place in India. It was formed for the benefit of the mill workers in 1928, making it the oldest idol in the area. Later visit to Khetwadicha Ganraj - The award winning Khetwadicha Ganraj is considered to be one of the most spectacular Ganesh idols in Mumbai. The mandal was established in 1959 but found fame in 2000, when it made the highest Ganesh idol in Indian history, standing 40 feet tall. The idol is decked out in real gold jewelry and adorned with diamonds. Later visit the most awaited The Idol of GSB Seva Kings Circle is affectionately known as Mumbai's gold Ganesh. Yes, that's pure gold it's adorned with—more than 60 kilograms of it. The mandal, often stated to be the richest in the city, was founded by the Gowd Saraswat Brahmin community from Karnataka in 1954. They've prospered in Mumbai, and as a mark of respect to the city, they conduct various social programs along with a grand celebration of the Ganesh festival. Back to Hotel by Night. O/N Mumbai.

  • Day 03: Mumbai – Pune

    Morning after breakfast, drive to Pune, drive of 4 – 5 Hrs. Arrival at Pune, check into hotel, later visit to Shanivar wada, Aga Khan Palace, Koregaon Park. Back to Hotel. O/N Pune.

  • Day 04: Pune – Ganpati Pandal (Stage) visit

    Morning after breakfast leave for visit to Famous Ganpati Pandal of Pune. Mostly by walk from one pandal to other, all in surrounding of each other. Start with Shri Kasba Ganpati Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal Established in 1893, this idol holds the status of presiding deity among all Ganesh Mandals in Pune. The Kasba Ganpati is the first one to be immersed and is fittingly called the “Manacha Pahila Ganpati” or the most revered Ganpati. The festivities at this Mandal is a must-watch. Tambdi Jogeshwari Ganpati This is one of the Ganpati’s started by Lokmanya Tilak in 1893. The head of the idol at Tambdi Jogeshwari Ganpati resembles that of an African elephant. This idol has remained the same since it’s inception and has been made by a single family over 4 generations. The Tambdi Jogeshwari Ganpati is known as the ‘Gramdevata of Pune,’ (Protector of Pune). The celebrations at this temple are very traditional so don’t expect any Bollywood numbers or item songs playing at this Mandal. Tulshibaug Ganpati, is the largest Ganpati idol in Pune and stands at 15 feet tall. The mandal pays respect to the women of the Tulshi Baug market who help to bring in the revenue at his market. Tulshibaug Ganpati has a unique theme every year but they don’t spend much on being lavish. A good part of the donations goes for various social causes. Kesari Wada Ganpati, This pandal was formed in 1893 by Lokmanya Tilak. It has the privilege of being the fifth most honored Ganpati in Pune. This pandal is well-known among locals for its social and cultural activities for children and other devotees. Finally not to miss, Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati This Mandal is one of the most popular mandals among the devotees. Established in 1893, this mandal is visited by celebrities as well as locals. Dagduseth Halwai pandal plays an important role in identifying Pune’s cultural significance. This Mandal also holds the crown of the richest Ganpati in Pune. Back to Hotel. O/N Pune.
